This software is fairly easy to use to do a simple nesting. I am a purchasing agent for a structural steel fabricator and I was looking for a fast and easy to use nesting program when I need to make a fast purchase and don\'t have the time to wait for the steel distributors to nest out my cut lists. Would have been nice to have some directions on how to use, but once I figured it out, I was able to get what I was looking for. I was really looking for a software/tool that would tell me how many of "x" size pieces we could get from a "y" size board (where x & y are known)- but I was able to work around this and get my information.

found it a little confusing to use but when i played arround for a while managed to get it working ok, good bit of software but there are also some easyer to use bits of kit also for free demo hope this helps. Im only using for personal use not for buisness.

Doesn`t meet my requirements The program looks ok by doesn't meet my requirements. I would have a program where I import flat .dwg and make nesting. But for it would be interesting using blanc parts... exemple my blank piece is 10 x 8 ...I would know if it wuld be better using 48 x 96 or 48 x 120 steel sheet.

Millions of Offcuts Millions and millions of offcuts cluttering up the shop, and barely reusable. Do I cut the sheet exactly in half or slip my disk? What would David Suzuki do in this situation? What term do I use when describing bundles of sticks? How do I pay for this software? Why does this software reply with the word yes?

Close but not quite I am looking for a product similar to Glass Cutting in order to do upholstery calculations. What I would prefer is purchasing the background code which calculates the best layout and therefore the least amount of material required. I would then integrate this into an application based on ASP.net. If anyone knows where this code is available I would appreciate their assistance.

good and bad Having trialed this software it does a fantastic job for rectangular "sheet chopping". One nice feature is that if you have your order requirement and add in some ongoing standard sizes, using the scrap from the order if there is any. Simply use the min/max feature, setting your min requirement for your standard pieces to zero and a high max number. You get great optimisation. Unfortunately the nesting of "profile" pieces seems dismal. It imports non standard shapes with ease, but fails to perform with the shapes we have put in . . .and they are not difficult shapes. Just testing different systems to find which solution will the best for our application. You product was easy to set up. We use Lotus Notes here and some of the functionality of your product is already available with Notes.

looking good so far still testing on several computers but hands down the easiest and best In/Out software tested to date.
